One of the main reasons for the low representation of women in decision-making tables in the water and climate sector is the lack of women role models and mentors, resulting in alienation from these disciplines. Women can benefit from the insight into negotiating the internal politics of an organization, and a woman mentor is particularly beneficial.

We are looking for senior professionals who are eager to make a difference and have a positive impact on younger African women’s careers in the water and climate sector. You will have the privilege of sharing your knowledge and shaping young minds to be skilful and help them navigate the ever-changing dynamics of this world.

As a mentor, you get the opportunity to give something valuable back to more junior professionals and to expand your own knowledge through the mentees’ perspective.
